Rodriguez Sanzo is a family wine company, with vineyards and own production in the main Denomination of Origin from Spain, mainly in the Northwestern part.
The winemaker Javier Rodriguez works together with a great team of highly qualified workers to obtain the major expression of the vineyards. The tasks at the vineyards are based on sustainable agriculture, with ecological vineyards and increasingly within the framework of biodynamics.
With a career in the market since 2003, their wines are established in 25 countries, they have being recognized in the year 2013 as Best Winery of Spain and in 2014 they were included in the international list of the most award-winning wineries in the world.
Las Tierras belongs to the project in Toro in Castilla y Leon area.

Grapes are harvested into cases and a hand selection is done in the winery on the selection band. Before coming into tanks made of stainless steel, oak and concrete, where grapes fermentation takes place with their skin for 15-20 days, the wine is cool with dry ice. After pressing the wine is transferred into wooden tanks. Ageing for 12 months in 2-3 years old French and American oak barrels.
Located in San Roman de Hornija at 720 m altitude. Sandy gravel soils and clayey subsoils resulting fresh and well-structures wines.
Flavour：Dark red cherry film with purple hints. Ripe black fruit with notes of vanilla dominates on the nose. Juicy and ripe tannins. Balanced and fresh.
